Writer's Retreat - Thursday October 15, 2026

Whether you’re ready to write a novel or ready to take time to unwind, this retreat will leave you feeling renewed and inspired. 

This curated day will include plenty of free time for writing* as well as guided group activities to calm the nervous system and get the creative juices flowing. We welcome published authors and "I'm-not-a-writer"-writers and everything in between.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a scent free event. One of our writers has a severe scent allergy, so in order for them to be able to participate we are asking everyone to be as scent free as possible. This includes perfume, hair spray, lip gloss, lotions, bug spray, sun screen, etc. 

Lunch and snacks are provided.

Space is limited.

*Writing could be a book, a story, a poem, a business plan, an email marketing series, a speech for your sister's wedding, a letter to a long-lost friend, and everything in between.

Location: Hillsburgh Library - 9 Station St, Hillsburgh, ON N0B 1Z0 (TBC)

Investment: $139

Food: Cold beverages and light snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon. Boxed lunch by "The Kitchen" in Erin, ON. GF/DF/Veg Options available. Please make selections when registering.

**I love to close my retreats with a gifting ceremony, where participants bring one gift and take home one gift. In keeping with the theme of this retreat, I would like the gift to be a book. Please bring one used book (wrapped or not) to participate.
